The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) has announced that LRT Line 2 will maintain its normal operations during Undas 2026, the period covering All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. According to LRTA, the aim is to keep rail services safe, orderly and convenient for commuters throughout the observance.

Operating hours

According to LRTA, LRT-2 will follow its regular operating schedule. Based on the information released by the authority, the first trips from both Antipolo and Recto stations will depart at 5:00 a.m.

  • Antipolo Station: last trip at 9:00 p.m.
  • Recto Station: last trip at 9:30 p.m.

These hours apply to weekdays, weekends and holidays, so there is no separate holiday timetable for the line during this period, according to the same release.

Safety and security

LRTA stated that it will put the necessary safety and security measures in place at stations and inside trains for the whole Undas period. The aim is to protect passenger safety and keep order across the network.

Commuters are encouraged to plan their trips in advance and to cooperate with station personnel. Following these steps, according to LRTA, will help ensure a safe and convenient journey.

Service commitment

In its announcement, LRTA said it remains committed to providing safe, reliable and convenient rail services to the riding public while Filipinos observe Undas 2026.

The announcement covers LRT Line 2 only. Passengers planning trips on other lines in the Manila network should check the latest information from the relevant operators before travelling.
