Privacy
Short version: visiting the map does not require an account, and audience analytics and Google advertising cookies only load if you accept them.
What stays in your browser
If you pick the light or dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage so the next visit looks the same. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time.
The same goes for your language: if you pick a language in the menu or in the language suggestion bar, we remember it in localStorage (key tm:lang:v1), so the home page opens in that language next time. It is a functional preference, with no personal data, and it never leaves your device.
What our servers see
Like any web server, ours may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested address, date and browser) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build profiles.
Accounts
Only the people who maintain the data have accounts. Visitors do not sign up or log in.
Audience analytics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) to count visits and see which parts of the map are used. We send events such as page views, the network you open, the language you switch to and that a route was planned. We never send the stations you chose, your searches or anything that identifies you. Advertising features and Google signals are turned off, and GA4 does not store full IP addresses.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); LGPD art. 7, I). Nothing is requested from Google before you accept.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_<ID>, set by Google Analytics on this site, which expire after up to 2 years. - Declining or changing your mind: choose Decline in the banner, or use "Privacy preferences" in the footer (or the button below) at any time. Withdrawing consent stops all measurement and removes the cookies above. Your choice is stored in your browser's
localStorage(keytm:consent:v1). - Clearing data: you can also delete the
_gacookies in your browser settings.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Only if you accept the "Advertising" category, this site loads Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), a third party, to show ads. The ad script runs on the page and can see its address; Google also receives data such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with ads. Google may set and read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to choose, show, measure and personalise ads and to protect them against fraud. Google handles this data under its own policies.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); LGPD art. 7, I). Nothing is requested from Google's ad servers before you accept, and the category starts unchecked.
- Cookies: set by Google on this site (for example
__gads,__gpi,__eoi) and on Google domains such asdoubleclick.netandgoogle.com. - Declining or changing your mind: choose Decline in the banner, or untick "Advertising" in "Privacy preferences" (footer or the button below) at any time. Withdrawing consent means the ad script is no longer loaded on the next page, and we remove the cookies this site is able to delete. Cookies on Google's own domains can be removed in your browser settings.
- More about Google ads: how Google uses data in advertising; you can manage ad personalisation in your Google account's ad settings.
Third parties
The map is drawn from files served by this site. The only third parties that may run on it are Google Analytics and Google AdSense, and only if you accept them (see above). If this changes, we will update this page first.
