According to Diário do Transporte, passengers using the São Paulo metropolitan trains and the Metrô should expect service changes over the Finados (All Souls' Day) holiday on Monday, 2 November 2026. The main change affects Line 11-Coral, which will be partly suspended.
Line 11-Coral partly suspended on Monday
From 9h to 16h on Monday, trains on Line 11-Coral will not run between Tatuapé and Corinthians-Itaquera because of scheduled works. The publication recommends Line 3-Vermelha of the Metrô as the alternative for this stretch during that period.
CPTM lines
Lines 10-Turquesa, 11-Coral and 12-Safira of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) will follow their usual schedules for Saturday (31 October) and Sunday (1 November). On Monday, they will run at the intervals normally used on Sundays.
Metrô lines
On Saturday and Sunday, Metrô lines will operate on their usual timetables, with the number of trips adjusted to passenger demand. Overnight from Saturday into Sunday, Lines 1-Azul, 2-Verde, 3-Vermelha and 15-Prata will run without interruption, with all stations open for boarding and alighting.
Service also continues without interruption from Sunday into Monday until midnight. According to the report, service resumes at 4h40 on Monday.
On the holiday itself, Lines 1-Azul, 2-Verde and 15-Prata will follow a Sunday-equivalent timetable. Line 3-Vermelha will have more trains to serve passengers who use it as an alternative to the partial suspension of Line 11-Coral.
Line 17-Ouro
Line 17-Ouro, which operates on a temporary basis, will run from 6h to 22h on Saturday and on Monday. The information released does not detail specific changes for Sunday, 1 November.
Reserve trains
According to the operating schedule of the Transportes Metropolitanos, all lines will be monitored during the period. Reserve trains will be available to be added to service if the fleet needs reinforcement.
