According to La Tercera, Santiago's Metro Lines 3 and 6 will run for longer than usual after the Teletón event held on 6 and 7 November at the Estadio Nacional. Red Movilidad has prepared a special transport plan to help attendees get home.
Metro service changes
Trains on Lines 3 and 6 will keep operating for four and a half hours longer, with circulation until 03:30 on 8 November.
During this period, entry is allowed only at a limited set of stations: Estadio Nacional on Line 6, and Ñuñoa, which is served by both Line 3 and Line 6.
Exits are open at more stations. On Line 6, passengers can leave at Cerrillos, Franklin, Ñuñoa and Los Leones. On Line 3, the exits listed are Plaza Quilicura, Universidad de Chile, Irarrázaval, Ñuñoa and Plaza Egaña.
According to the same report, Ñuñoa will work as an interchange point between Line 6 and Line 3.
Reinforced bus routes
Red Movilidad has also reinforced bus services in the early hours of Sunday, 8 November. Buses can be boarded near the Estadio Nacional between 02:30 and 03:30, and at Franklin Metro station between 02:45 and 04:00. The services head to different communes of Santiago.
